PAN-TWILIGHT CIRCUS IS DOWN-TO-EARTH DELIGHT
(Headline)
The Pan-Twilight Circus is a show for the twilight hours. As the
setting sun casts shadows of people outside the tent onto its walls,
like so many shadow puppets, this genial and gentle show slips into
the mood and holds it.
...
This is a friendly show that's a little like Mr. Roger's
Neighborhood turned on its head-- with the tiny creatures turned
large.
...
The Pan-Twilight Circus has its charms. It's a warm and cuddly little
show that works hard to please--and does.

Creatures of the Lawn is an I-shrunk-the-kids fantasy, with
eight-foot blades of grass on the backdrop and an enormous hand
holding a lupe above the stage entrance
...
The whole Pan-Twilight Circus is a wonderfully low-key circus: like
having a group of talented professionals set up in your backyard,
representing critters from your backyard. For an afteroon of
family fun or a great date in Newport, check out Creatures of the
Lawn-- your garden will never seem the same.

We asked our audience members what they thought of the show with a questionaire, and these are some of the responses.
My son (age 5) said at the end of the show "That was Splendiferous!"
Great music, costumes, and animated characters!!!
This is an excellent circus all around. Thank you.
I have known a red ant that bit me on the toe in Florida.
We came 3 times. Fantastic!
This was enchanting. Thank you very much.
I saw "Pandora's Box" in 1992, I have never laughed so hard. Thank you, thank you,
thank you for bringing this taste of clever, hysterical theatre to Providence!
This is the most creative production I have ever seen-- including the numerous shows
I've seen on Broadway (N.Y.!) . The show was wildly entertaining. I can't wait
to see the next one! As my 3 year old son said -- I want to see more bugs!
It was great! A real gem!!
Don't discriminate against Frogs. They're green.
It's refreshing to see and be a part of something so original under the Big Top.
Another job well done. We can't wait to see your next production!
Sunday afternoon I told my 3 sons "We're going to see a circus show." They all groaned
(ages 10, 11, and 15) and 2 asked not to go. Well, they loved
it and said it was not what they had expected. We all get tired of glitz I guess,
and your show was honest, interesting, funny, and very entertaining. Thank you!
The ants, the spider, the praying mantis are great fun. The praying mantis had a
definite predatory quality. Good job!
