On Tuesday, September 24, 2002, Tom Sgouros and his robot Judy gave a wonderful performance at the University of Detroit Mercy. Tom's show was both entertaining and provocative. It raised philosophical questions about humanity and our relationship with technology, and it also raised ethical questions about how we human beings should treat one another.

Part of my job, as a campus minister for the College of Engineering and Science at UDM, is to raise awareness about the issues Tom and Judy presented. Tom has a gift for presenting these complex issues in an accessible way. I was very edified to see how many of the students in the audience stayed after the performance to talk to Tom. His presentation obviously made them think, and the students left that evening with many thoughts and questions to digest. Do not hesitate to call upon the talents of Tom Sgouros, you will not be disappointed!
