Dear Mr. Sgouros,

It was such a pleasure to host you and your charming colleague Judy. Many people said that your presentation was the best thing brought in this year.

It was certainly a treat for me personally to have such an in-depth chat with you after the show. Our faculty is so small that there really isn't another person on campus whose field of interest coincides so closely with mine. I've now looked up and ordered the books you suggested for my future class. Thanks for helping me to get abreast of some of the newest literature!

I especially enjoyed your informal presentation and give-and-take with my students in the computer understanding of human language class. The students seemed very much to enjoy speaking with someone who thinks about the meaning of intelligence and can bring it to a wide audience. It was the most animated I had seen them in lecture.
